One of the most common options sought out by researchers is advanced payment, which allows them to pay for our transcription services before research is conducted.
Being aware of the importance of paying in advance, we have taken the appropriate measures to make sure that doing so is as safe and easy as possible.
1. Determine the amount
You might already have an amount in mind for your advanced payment, this is probably based on the budget your grant allows for transcription.
However, it is possible you’re still not sure on how much money to allocate for transcription and you need an estimate from us.
If this is the case, we would be very glad to prepare a quote that is specific to your project and determine the amount needed to pay in advance.
Once you know the amount that you would want to pay for, the next step would be to send over an invoice for you to process.
We understand that different institutions might have different requirements for an advanced payment invoice and we make sure to meet these requirements before submitting an invoice.

Landmark does not have an expiration date for you to use your prepaid amount, it can be used at any given time. You will be able to consult your credit whenever you want.
3. Using your advanced payment.
Once we have completed transcription or translation jobs for you, we will generate an invoice to reflect the exact number of minutes and the rate per minute for you to review.
Once we get the green light from you we will apply your credit to the invoice(s). Another option is to automatically pay for your invoices using your credit balance and send you a receipt. We can work with these options or any other one that suits you best.
