Extract audio from video files
Video files can be quite big, making it difficult for researchers to handle their data quickly and accurately.
This step-by-step guide will walk you through the process of extracting your audio from your video file quickly and safely.
1.Download VLC to your computer
If you have already completed this step before, please continue to section 3.
Download VLC from your computer. VLC media is safe for you to download. It is advisable to download this media player from the approved site. This will keep you free from all forms of viruses. This player is not only protected from intended damages but also spyware and any other type of mischievousness.
You should be able to find your download at the bottom of your tab. Once the download is complete, click on it and follow the installation instructions.
3. Open VLC
Open the VLC application and click on File –> Convert/Stream like shown in the image below.
3. Open your media
Click the “Open Media” button and select the video you want to extract the audio for.
4. Extract your audio from your video file
In the choose profile option choose “Audio mp3” option.
In the Choose Destination click on “Save as File” and choose the output location using the browse option and enter the name of the file that you wanted to save the audio file as.
You will now be able to find your audio file (.mp3 ) on the location you selected before.
6. Create an account at Landmark and upload your files
